During the afterwork drink(s) and catch up with Aaron it was decided that that Mr John Torode’s establishment would be the subject of the random Monday in question. I was suitably excited. The restaurant itself is an impressive space; not the usual plain white everywhere with lugubrious waiters. Exposed brick, massive timber beams and just enough of the kitchen on display to leave me wanting a bit of a gander were some of the things that give the place real character. Continue reading
